At first glance, lasagna is a complicated dish to prepare. The famous GIAN LUCA DEMARCO refutes this often heard opinion and shares his recipe with us.
We dare say - everyone will be able to make this recipe, and the vegetarian lasagna will enchant the hearts of even die-hard meat eaters!

During the show LA MAISTAS, vegetables were cooked on a compact, mobile grill COBB, but you can prepare this dish in any other grill or home kitchen.

Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 large eggplant
- 1 large zucchini
- 6 lasagna sheets
- 2 sprigs of tomatoes
- 1 bundle (250g) of sage
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
- Pea pods (as needed)
- Zucchini rings (as needed)
- Grated cheese (as needed)
- Parmesan and mozzarella - as needed
- Anchovies (as needed)
- Olive oil (as needed)
- Salt (to taste)
- Ground black pepper (to taste)
Ingredients for the sauce
- 2 liters of milk
- 200 g of butter
- 200 g wheat flour
Production:
- Cut the eggplant and zucchini into thin slices.
- Grill on both sides. If your grill is a COBB, use it Griddle plane.
- Heat olive oil in a pan, add a clove of garlic. COBB owners will find it most convenient to use COBB deep pan
- Once heated, add the anchovies, after they are fried, add the chopped tomatoes and olives. Put the pea pods and the cut smidri in the pan. Do not spare the salt and pepper.
- Set the vegetables aside.
- Prepare the bechamel sauce: melt the butter, add the flour and mix everything. Add 2 liters of milk and mix well with a whisk.

- At the end, grate nutmeg and add salt and pepper.
- Layer the lasagna: pour a portion of the bechamel sauce, place the eggplants and zucchini. On them - prepared tomato and vegetable sauce. Sprinkle with mozzarella, grated cheese and parmesan. Place lasagna sheets. Lasagna sheets do not need to be turned over.

- Continue layering and top with zucchini rings. They will give additional taste and appearance.
- Place the lasagna in an oven preheated to 180C and bake for 35 minutes. If grilling, grill over indirect heat using a deflector (for kamado grills).
