The fresh and sweet taste of cranberry and Jack Daniel's sauce is the best with grilled turkey!
Preparation: 15 min. Cooking: 40 min. on direct fire
The portion will be enough for 6 people
Ingredients:
20 g of salted butter
1 finely chopped onion
400 g of cranberries
200 ml of Jack Daniel's whiskey
100 g of brown sugar
1 year sh. "Black Treacle" black syrup
1st century sh. cayenne pepper
6 years sh. apple cider vinegar
Preparation:
- Heat a heavy-based pan over medium heat.
- Melt the butter, add cranberries, onion and 4 tbsp. sh. water Cook all the ingredients for about 10 minutes until the onion and cranberries are soft.
- Then mix sugar, whiskey, cayenne pepper, vinegar and black syrup into the mixture. Leave to cook for about 20-30 minutes, until the sauce darkens, becomes thick and sticky.
- Remove the pan with the sauce from the heat, if you want consistency - grind the mass in a blender (in a blender).
- Allow the sauce to cool completely before serving to bring out all the flavors and thicken the sauce.
This cranberry sauce is best with turkey!
