COBB History
COBB is a multi-award winning portable grill that originated in faraway South Africa. The first COBB grill was created to facilitate the daily life of people living in rural areas.
The idea of the creators is to encourage Africans to use sun-dried corn cob kernels as fuel for cooking and thus replace conventional wood and coal. Another important challenge is safer food production, without using direct fire and electricity.
It's not for nothing that the grill is named COBB - it's short for "corn cobs".
The first COBB Grill - a ceramic, clumsy bowl-shaped vessel, gradually became a modern, environmentally friendly, portable and extremely efficient grill.

The creators of the grill did not yet know that after solving this problem of food production for poor African people, they created a product that in 2001 of happiness magazine time award as one of the best inventions of the year.
After several decades of development, the COBB grill can now grill, smoke, roast, boil or simply heat the desired dish. It is light and compact, so it is easy to transport and enjoy your favorite dishes wherever you want. Food prepared with the COBB grill will be healthier: excess fat is stored in a special tray, so the food will be juicy, but not greasy.
COBB is also considered one of the safest grills in the world, with which even the smallest enthusiasts can learn grilling tricks. Due to the special technology, the body and bottom of the COBB grill never get hot.
